2 things have made my day today.
The first is the news that Cillit Bang is buying Durex, which instantly led to things like "Bang and the Dirty's done" etc.
The second is this little piece of YouTube Genius. Reminds me of the Goldie Lookin Chain. I loved the Goldie Lookin' Chain. I wonder what they're doing now, maybe they're free to appear at my birthday in a few months time?

Reasons to dislike the internet
Spam like this.
Actually, taking it further back, the internet isn't really to blame. It wasn't the internet that came up with this lame piece of celeb endorsed bitch piss. Maybe Avril can't afford to pay her mortgage or something and her agent suggested this as a money spinner. In which case, Avril, I suggest you start packing your crockery and look to downsize.
Oh, and I use celeb in the very loosest of terms.
No Avril, I don't dare to discover.

Trash Humpers
This film by Harmony Korine is out soon. Here's the trailer. I just watched it and found it completely weird yet kinda fascinating. A bit like when Cath and I got stuck in the Guggenheim watching The Cremester Cycle by Matthew Barney. We hadn't got a clue what it was about, yet we couldn't stop watching it, even though it was freaking us out a bit.
I like things that push me out of my comfort zone and make me feel slightly uncomfortable. I suspect Trash Humpers will do this.
Check it out for yourself. 'Trash Humpers' on at the ICA London on July 4th.

New Art
The latest addition to our art collection has just been posted on ThatHipsterPorn. It's a Mark Ward original painting that we spotted at his most recent show. Me and fella saw it, looked at each other knowingly then frogmarched across to Mr Ward himself and bagsied it immediately.

Preen for Vogue TV
Here's the amazing duo Thea Bragazzi and Justin Thornton, creators of Preen, talking about their latest collection on Vogue TV.
This clip features the absolutely wonderful Kim Brown, make-up artist and Beauty Editor of Glass Magazine (and my sis-in-law) and Tracey Cant who I've worked with once and was fantastic.
Put these people together and magic happens. I've been to a few of their shows and they are AMAZING.

I'm almost in tears
In 2002 I went to San Francsico and bought a fantastic pair of LEVIs bsed on an original 1970s design. I loved those jeans to DEATH. I wore them so much that the crotch almost dropped out.
They couldn't be worn (too obscene) but I couldn't part with them. They were my perfect pair of jeans and they also cost me a fortune, mind you they were worth every penny.
They sat in my wardrobe until last month, when lack of space forced me to get rid of some 'stuff'. So I chucked them, begrudgingly. I hadn't been able to wear them for about 6 years so it seemed the right thing to do.
So why am I almost in tears? Because I just found this website http://denimtherapy.com/ about 10 mins ago. Look at what they can do!! Look at them fixing the denim!!!!!! OH SHIT WHY DID I THROW THEM OUT!!!!!!!
